Inspirational Motivational Posters

I recently went looking for some inspirational, motivational posters to hang by my desk and inspire me while I work. While some people have parodied these types of posters, I like them because the photography is always amazing, and the messages are uplifting. My personal favorites are posters that show people accomplishing amazing feats (check out the ones below of the guy standing on top of the mountain or hanging off the cliff!) because they show the amazing things the human spirit is capable of achieving. Just looking at some those images reminds me that nothing is impossible. Here are a few of my favorite inspirational and motivational posters.

Have you ever dreamed of something that seemed nearly impossible to achieve? This great inspirational motivational poster shows a climber at the top of a mountain, looking out at a beautiful sunset. The bottom says: "AMBITION. Aspire to climb as high as you can dream."

The entire Great Wall of China, with all of its branches, stretches for more than 5000 miles across parts of China. No task this large is ever completed overnight. The Great Wall was built over hundreds of years, from the 5th century BC to the 16th century BC.

This motivational poster shows an inspiring photo of the the Great Wall of China snaking up a mountainside and offers the reminder that, "The Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins With a Single Step." The quote is from Lao Tse, a 6th century Chinese philosopher known for writing the Tao The Ching.

Sometimes it may seem like life is just a random series of chances, and we're just caught in the current. But the text at the bottom of this beautiful poster, which shows a boat floating in shallow water reads, "DESTINY: The choices we make, not the chances we take, determine our destiny."

In some ancient cultures, wolves were portrayed as wise, almost god-like creatures who were considered to be the highest spiritual teachers. This inspirational motivation poster invokes the spirit of this early traditions. It shows the image of a gray wolf peeking out between two trees. The text below says, "WISDOM. Seek always, for by looking for one thing you will surely find another - this is the path to wisdom."

Need some inspiration to keep you going, to keep from giving up? This poster should do the trick. This amazing photo of a climber hanging precariously off a huge rock face with a background of snowy mountains says, "PERSEVERANCE: What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

Mother Teresa once said, "We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop." This poster showing a drop of water echoes a similar theme. The bottom of the picture says, "Action: It only takes 'It only takes a single thought to move the world."
