Free Fun for the Whole Family

Don't let the high price of movie tickets keep you from taking your kids to the big screen when school's out. Many movie theaters offer free (or almost free) family-friendly movies during the summer. You'll have to settle for flicks that have already made their way to DVD, be prepared to arrive early to get a seat, and forget about evening or weekend showtimes in favor of early mid-week showings, but if you're willing to deal with these minor hurdles, you can save a bundle and have a blast.

Some of the movies being shown for free this summer at a variety of theaters include "Shrek Forever After," "Kung Fu Panda," "How to Train Your Dragon," and "Despicable Me," but be sure to check the theater's official website to get a complete list of participating movies and showtimes.

Below you'll find a list of movie theaters with summer programs and links to their websites where you can get a list of participating movies and showtimes.

Enjoy the show!

I think it's a wonderful program for kids, @daycares with the high prices today I think more children will be able to go. Keep sponsoring this great movie camp.
